End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and DOSAYGO, a Wyoming corporation, 9450 SW Gemini Dr #44162, Beaverton, OR 97008-7105, USA (“DOSAYGO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It covers gripui: the gripui software and command-line tools, downloads, updates, documentation, generated agent instructions, and the licensing services that go with them (together, “gripui”).

You accept this EULA by ticking the acceptance box when you buy a subscription, and each time you install, activate, or use gripui. We record the version you accepted at purchase. If you use gripui for an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization, and “you” includes it.

1. What gripui is

gripui is a local browser workbench for coding agents, shell workflows, and browser operation from the command line. It lets you and your agents inspect pages, choose and perform numbered actions, pause for a human, connect to local or remote browsers, and produce redacted transcripts.

gripui is designed for responsible browser operation. It is not designed to bypass CAPTCHAs, multi-factor authentication, passkeys, access controls, paywalls, anti-abuse systems, or third-party terms.

2. Your license

gripui is licensed, not sold. While your subscription is active and you comply with this EULA, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use gripui within your plan (section 3). We keep all rights not expressly granted.

2.1 What you may do

Within your plan, you and the people and agents you authorize may:

• run gripui by hand, from scripts, shell wrappers, makefiles, task runners, and test harnesses, and call it from your own tools;
• direct gripui from AI agents, coding agents, and other automated systems that work for you, and give those agents gripui’s public documentation, help output, and command results;
• use gripui to build, test, and debug your own websites, applications, automations, and agents, including writing and running test suites for them;
• evaluate gripui for your own use, including security review and performance testing of your own installation;
• on Pro Runner, run gripui in your own CI pipelines, containers, virtual machines, and headless runners;
• integrate gripui into internal tools used only by you and your employees and contractors working for you.

These permissions apply even where a restriction in sections 8 to 10 might otherwise seem to cover them, except the ban on competing products (section 8.2) and on circumvention (section 8.1).

2.2 When you need a Platform agreement

You need a Platform agreement signed by DOSAYGO to let anyone other than you, your employees, and your contractors use gripui or its functionality: for example, to distribute gripui, bundle it in a product, image, or appliance, offer it as part of a hosted or managed service or agent platform, or give your customers access to gripui’s browser-control functionality. You also need one to use more activations than your plan includes.

You do not need one to use gripui yourself in work you do for your clients, such as testing or automating their websites, as long as the clients do not operate gripui or its functionality themselves.

3. Plans

An activation is each place gripui is activated with your license: every machine, virtual machine, container, or CI runner that activates counts as one, even when several run on the same host.

• Solo Dev. One named developer, for personal and commercial work, on up to 2 activations on machines that developer uses. Solo Dev does not cover CI runners or machines shared with other people.
• Pro Runner. One organization or individual, for interactive and automated use, including CI, headless, and production automation, on up to 3 activations at a time. Free an activation with gripui license deactivate, for example at the end of a CI job, and it can be used again.
• Platform. The uses in section 2.2, on the terms of a signed agreement.

gripui does not limit the number of browser actions on any plan. A license key or activation may not be shared outside your plan.

4. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Renewal. Solo Dev and Pro Runner are yearly subscriptions. Each renews automatically at the end of its year and is charged to your payment method until you cancel. If the price changes, we will email you at least 30 days before the renewal it affects.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time at gripui.com/billing (sign in with your purchase email) or from the billing link in your license email. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your license keeps working until the end of the year you have paid for, then ends. If a renewal payment fails and is not recovered, the license ends at the end of the paid year.

Refunds. You may request a refund, by emailing us with your receipt: of a first subscription payment, within 2 days of activating the license it bought; of a renewal, within 2 days of the renewal charge. After that, payments are not refundable. A refunded first payment ends the license it bought. A refunded renewal ends the license at the start of the refunded year; earlier paid years are unaffected. A full refund also cancels your subscription, so nothing further is charged.

Nothing in this EULA limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

5. Activation and license checks

gripui keeps a license lease signed by our licensing service and bound to your activation. It renews the lease every 5 hours while you use browser commands. If it cannot renew, browser commands stop until it can; local commands such as help, version, and license status keep working, and nothing on your machine is deleted.

We do not guarantee that the licensing service is always available. If you believe an activation or license check has failed in error, email us; we assist with activation errors as a billing matter.

6. Privacy: what we receive, and what we don’t

What gripui sends us. Only the following, and only for licensing, updates, fraud prevention, and license enforcement:

• on activation, your license key;
• on each lease renewal, your license and activation identifiers, the activation token, a one-way hash derived from identifiers of your machine and user account, and the gripui version. The hash lets us recognize the same machine; it is still information about your machine;
• when the installed gripui wrapper checks for updates (at most once a day), a request for the latest version number and, when you update, the download;
• the ordinary network information any web request carries, such as your IP address. For licensing, the service keeps only a keyed one-way hash of it, with the time of each activation and renewal, to detect copied activations.

What gripui does not send us. gripui does not send us your browsing, the pages you operate, cookies, credentials, screenshots, transcripts, prompts, model outputs, or other content.

Where you send content. Content you direct elsewhere is between you and that service. This includes content your AI agents or model providers receive, and remote browsers or BrowserBox sessions you connect. Issue reports open as a pre-filled page on GitHub for you to review and submit; once submitted to our public issue tracker, GitHub and DOSAYGO both receive them, and they are public.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we keep and protect licensing and billing information and which service providers we use.

7. Your content and responsibilities

You retain your rights in your scripts, prompts, workflows, configuration, data, transcripts, and other content. We claim no ownership of them merely because you use gripui. DOSAYGO keeps its rights in any of its materials that appear in them, such as help text or generated agent instructions, and this EULA gives you no rights in third-party material.

gripui creates local files such as configuration, browser profiles, logs, transcripts, and screenshots. You are responsible for your machines, accounts, secrets, and the websites and services you operate with gripui, and for reviewing what your agents and scripts do, including deciding when a workflow needs human approval. Redaction is a safety feature, not a guarantee that sensitive information never appears in transcripts, logs, or screenshots. Do not send us passwords, keys, tokens, or other secrets.

8. Restrictions

Subject to section 2.1, and except as applicable law permits despite this section, you may not do, or let or direct anyone else (including an AI system, agent, or automated tool) to do, the following.

8.1 Circumvention and reverse engineering

• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive gripui’s source code, internal algorithms, protocols, license mechanisms, or security mechanisms, including by supplying gripui’s binaries to an AI system for that purpose;
• interfere with, forge, or evade license activation, lease renewal, or activation limits, including by copying license files or activations, spoofing machine identifiers, or using multiple accounts, resets, or payment abuse to obtain more activations;
• remove or alter license checks, copyright or proprietary notices, or redaction features.

8.2 Competing products

You may not use gripui, its binaries, outputs, command traces, transcripts, documentation, or behavior to build, train, specify, benchmark, or improve a product or service that competes with or substitutes for gripui or BrowserBox, such as a browser-control command-line tool, agent browser layer, browser automation workbench, or remote browser service. This includes training or evaluating AI models or agents whose purpose is to reproduce gripui, and creating datasets or test suites for such products. Building and testing your own applications, automations, and agents that use gripui as a tool is not a competing product.

Nothing in this EULA stops you from publishing honest reviews or lawful comparisons of gripui. You may not disclose non-public builds or materials (section 9), make false claims about gripui, or misuse our trademarks.

8.3 Redistribution

Outside a Platform agreement, you may not distribute, resell, rent, sublicense, host, or share gripui, license keys, or activations, or make gripui’s functionality available to anyone other than you, your employees, and your contractors.

8.4 Acceptable use

You may use gripui only lawfully and with authorization. You may not use it to:

• access systems, accounts, websites, or data without authorization;
• bypass CAPTCHAs, multi-factor authentication, access controls, rate limits, paywalls, or anti-abuse systems;
• harvest credentials, personal data, or payment data without authorization;
• send spam, scrape abusively, overload services, or commit fraud;
• build or operate malware, phishing, credential stuffing, botnets, or other harmful automation;
• violate export controls, sanctions, privacy law, or third-party rights or terms.

9. Non-public materials

If we give you non-public builds, documentation, repositories, integration details, or other confidential information, you must keep it confidential and use it only for the purpose we gave it. You may share it with your professional advisers and service providers who need it for that purpose and are bound by confidentiality duties at least as protective as these, and use it with AI tools that work for you only if those tools do not retain it or train on it. These duties last for three years after you receive the information, and for trade secrets, for as long as they remain trade secrets.

This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, that you knew before we gave it to you, that you develop independently, or that you receive lawfully from someone else without a duty of confidence. You may disclose it where law or a court requires, after giving us notice where permitted.

10. Our ownership

gripui’s software, documentation, websites, and our names and logos belong to DOSAYGO or its licensors. No ownership passes to you. This does not claim ownership of general ideas or methods; your use of gripui is governed by the restrictions in section 8.

If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it freely without payment. This does not cover your confidential information or your content.

11. Remote browsers and third-party services

If you connect gripui to a remote browser, BrowserBox session, CI runner, cloud machine, or container, you are responsible for its credentials, data, security, and terms. gripui operates third-party websites on your instruction; you are responsible for following their terms, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or decisions about your accounts.

12. Updates and changes

Updates may add, change, or remove features. During a paid year we will not reduce your plan’s activations or the uses permitted in section 2.1.

We may update this EULA. We will post each version here, and email paid subscribers about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. A material change applies to your subscription from your next renewal; you can cancel before then. Changes required by law, or needed to address fraud or security, may apply sooner.

13. Compliance checks

For Pro Runner and Platform licenses, or if we have reasonable grounds to believe this EULA is being breached, we may ask for records showing your activations and where gripui is deployed. We will give at least 30 days’ written notice, ask no more than once in any 12 months unless we have evidence of a breach, and keep what you provide confidential. A check never covers your browsing, content, customer data, or unrelated source code. If a check shows you used more than your plan allows, you will pay the fees for that use. If it substantiates a material breach, you will also pay our reasonable costs of the check. This section applies to business users.

14. Suspension and termination

Immediate suspension. We may suspend a license or activation immediately if we reasonably suspect fraud, payment fraud, stolen or shared keys, copied activations, circumvention (section 8.1), competing-product use (section 8.2), unauthorized distribution (section 8.3), a material security risk, or illegal activity, or where the law requires it.

Termination. We may terminate your license for a material or repeated breach. Where a breach can reasonably be fixed, we will first email you and give you 14 days to fix it.

Payment disputes. While a payment dispute is open, we may suspend the license that payment bought. We restore it if the payment is kept or restored, or we receive a replacement payment, unless another reason for suspension remains. A payment reversed for good ends only the license and period that payment covered, unless there is evidence of broader abuse.

How remote disabling works. Suspension means our licensing service stops renewing the lease, so browser commands stop within 5 hours. Nothing on your machine is deleted.

Mistakes. If you believe a suspension is mistaken, email us. If it was, we restore your license.

When your license ends or is terminated, you must stop using gripui. Payment obligations already due, and sections 7 to 10 and 15 to 21, continue to apply.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

gripui is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Websites, browsers, and third-party services change and may block or alter gripui’s behavior at any time.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, business interruption, third-party service failures, or account actions by third parties, even if advised of their possibility, or for losses caused by a subscription ending, or by a suspension or termination made in accordance with this EULA.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOSAYGO’s total liability for all claims connected with gripui, taken together and under any legal theory, is limited to the greater of USD 100 and the fees you paid us for gripui in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the first claim.

Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or intentional misconduct where the law requires, or under mandatory consumer or data-protection law.

17. Indemnity (business users)

If you use gripui for a business, you will defend DOSAYGO against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of gripui, unauthorized access to systems or data using gripui, content you run through gripui that infringes someone’s rights, distribution prohibited by section 8.3, or your material breach of this EULA, and pay the amounts finally awarded or agreed in settlement. This does not cover losses caused by our own wrongful acts, or claims that gripui itself infringes someone’s rights. We will notify you promptly of a claim, let you control its defense, and cooperate at your expense. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by us or imposes obligations on us without our consent.

18. Consumers

Whether you are a consumer is decided by the law that applies to you; buying Solo Dev or entering a company name does not by itself make you a business. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that this EULA cannot exclude or limit, including rights about digital content that is faulty or not as described. Nothing in this EULA affects them.

19. Governing law and disputes

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your residence gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Either party may ask a court for an injunction to stop a breach of sections 8 or 9, subject to that court’s requirements.

20. Export and U.S. government use

You may not use or transfer gripui in violation of export control or sanctions laws, and you confirm you are not a restricted party. For U.S. government users, gripui is “commercial computer software” licensed only under this EULA.

21. General

Order of precedence. If documents conflict, the first in this list governs: a written agreement signed by DOSAYGO; the price, billing term, activation count, and plan shown at purchase; this EULA; our Terms of Service. Other descriptions of gripui, such as marketing copy, do not change this EULA. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.

Assignment. You may not transfer this EULA or your license without our written consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Entire agreement. Together with the documents above, this EULA is the entire agreement about gripui.

Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent needed and the rest remains in effect.

Notices. We send notices to the email address on your license; you send notices to the address below.

22. Support and contact

gripui is provided without technical support, uptime commitments, or promises of fixes or features, unless agreed in a signed agreement. We help with billing: subscriptions, payments, receipts, refunds, and activation errors. Community forums, videos, and documentation we publish are educational only.
